Machining Process
First of all, the blank is securely clamped onto the worktable of the 5-axis machining center to ensure stability during machining. Subsequently, roughing is performed using a bull-nose cutter with a cycloidal milling strategy to remove the majority of the blank allowance while minimizing tool load. Next, a ball-end mill is employed to carry out precision finishing on complex surfaces such as blade profiles, following preset machining programmed toolpaths to achieve the required surface finish and contour accuracy. Finally, the machine's on-machine inspection function is utilized to automatically measure critical dimensions of the finished impeller, verifying machining accuracy and ensuring the product fully complies with design specifications.
